Women and Goddess Retreat

10 years jubilee

4 - 8 august 2010

with Charlotte Norell

on the magical island of Gotland

Awaken your inner Goddess, discover your gift as woman and be inspired to live your true potential !

  • What is preventing you from living your true passion?
  • What are you longing for to live as a woman?
  • What are your unique qualities and gifts?
  • What is it to practice a feminine-oriented spirituality?

In the beautiful and magical nature of Gotland, in a setting right by the ocean, we gather for the tenth year, during five days, to a unique journey together with other women. A healing, loving and transforming journey, where we embrace and heal what has held us back and invite what we really want to live and have in our lives.

There will be laughter, tears, stillness, creative exploration, dancing, sharing, healing, rituals, vision quest, yoga, meditation, relaxation and excursions to power places in nature.

In an atmosphere of trust and sisterhood with other women we support each other to shine and flower as women. The retreat is known for its quality of depth and sincerity, creating new possibilities for women to be in the world empowered, alive and passionate.

Charlotte Norell has for the past ten years focused on courses for women and has inspired hundreds of women to come in contact with their true potential and passion. She says about Woman and Goddess 10-years jubilee:

”When I look back at these 10 summers to the very first gathering, what then was babysteps into something new, a feminine-oriented spirituality, I am in awe. I have learned so much and I am still exploring, deepening every year into this mystery of Woman and Goddess. So many women have passed through and so many have reported how they have benefitted deeply from participating. The softness, the presence, the aliveness, the empowerment, the feelings, the nurturing, the touch and the healing, aaaahhh....And all the beautiful sisters I have met, building friendships with other women beyond comparison and competition. Last summer we beat the record of participants, we were 36 with me and this year, why not 50 women turning into wild, radiant and happy goddesses?”

Every year I invite a new guest teacher, who shares half a days workshop with us and this year it will be Vanya Pernilla Mårtens. She describes herself like this:

”I, Vanya Pernilla, have worked with Rebalancing massage, crystal and colour healing, meditation and Osho therapy since 1986. Now I work most of the time in my company with crystals, gems and jewellery called Kristallrummet. I still give sessions and smaller courses, like taking care of Oneness Blessing at Vattumannen bookstore in Stockholm once a week.

I have a passion for the bodily and the sensuos that also stretches and touches the spirit and the higher realms. To have everything fit together has been my dream since childhood and in every moment this dream becomes true. In the mystery and the love.”

The program starts in the morning at 7.45, with yoga class. This year’s yoga teacher is Charlotte Wiklund, who will teach kundalini yoga. She will adress her yoga class specifically to the feminine body, for rejuvenation, energy and relaxation.

Then we enjoy breakfast and the program continues from 10.30 until 13.00-13.30, when we have lunch. If the sun shines we usually have a bit longer break to go for a swim. We meet again in the afternoon for another group session and then dinner is at around 18-18.30. Evening program starts at 20.30 until 22.00, sometimes we finish a bit later. If someone does not wish to be part of the whole program it is always possible to have space for oneself.

One whole day during the retreat will be in nature with specific program for that day and usually most of the time is spent in silence.

About Gotland and how to get here:

Gotland is an island in the Baltic Sea, situated three hrs with ferry from the harbour cities Oskarshamn and Nynäshamn. If you come from Stockholm or from the north, Nynäshamn is the best harbour for you. Bus to the ferry leaves 1h45min before ferry departure from Stockholm city terminal. If you come from the westcoast or south of Sweden you take the ferry from Oskarshamn. The ferry company has given Woman and Goddess participants a group reduction fare on the ferry tickets. In your confirmation letter you will receive info on how to book your ferry ticket.

You can also fly to Gotland from several cities in Scandinavia, more info on www.gotland.net, which is the main website for Gotland and has listed all the flightcompanies.

Gotland is a very special and beautiful island with sun-rich summers. Many tourists come here every summer for its magical nature and long , sandy beaches. It used to be a tropical island millions of years ago and for some reason it moved to the north and was covered by ice during the last ice age. When the ice melted away it left some very  interesting rock formations from the original coralreef, that are called ”raukas” and many are several metres high. The ”raukas” create quite a special coastline on the places where they are situated. For me I have completely fallen in love with the nature here and it is where I recharge myself thanks to the deep rest nature gives me,

Visby, the main town of Gotland, has a medieval wall all around and many buildings intact from the Middle Age, well worth a visit. The week following Woman and Goddess the very popular Medieval Festival starts.
